  COVID - 19 Information

The CDC is projecting the U.S. could be through the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic by July – if vaccinations continue at high rates and people wear masks and physically distance when necessary.

In compliance with the CDC Guidelines and in an effort to limit exposure to the staff and members of the Local Union, we will be limiting access to the hall to five (5) people at a time. We are still open. There is no change to our hours of operation, but the doors will be locked and we will answer the door individually. We strongly encourage members to conduct any business by mail, fax, phone, or online at this time. There is no change to the referral procedure.

Also, in compliance with the CDC Guidelines,  anyone wishing to conduct business at the Local Union hall will need to have a cloth face covering.

The IBEW Local 20 Federal Credit Union has enacted a similar policy. They are limiting access to two (2) customers at a time. They are still open for business during normal hours.

IBEW and NECA have signed a national agreement in response to the COVID - 19 situation. Information on that can be found here. More information here and here.

Due to the COVID - 19 precautions we have been granted permission by International Vice President Speer to cancel the June 2021 meeting. We will continue to host informational virtual meetings on regularly scheduled meeting nights until in person meetings can resume.

The Local 20 picnic has been postponed. It will be rescheduled as soon as  possible.

The IBEW is tracking data on members that have tested positive for COVID - 19. If you have tested positive please email the Business Manager.
Scheduling is being set for Advanced Estimating, NFPA-70e, OSHA 30, and OSHA 10 training, call the Training Center at 972-266-8383 ext. 100 to sign up.
Check the "Announcements" page for scheduled classes.
