2021 Local Union Election

The ballots have been mailed

Follow the instructions and get your ballot in the mail ASAP so your vote will be counted on June 1st.

Any member who does not receive a ballot by mail may make a written request to: no later than 4:30 pm on May 14, 2021.

From the Election Judge on the sealed return and Ballot envelopes:

"It has been brought to my attention that some envelopes are partially or completely sealed probably due to high humidity.

First suggestion is to try and carefully peel/cut apart and reseal with tape or glue stick. In a neat and careful manner.

Secondly if you cannot or do not feel comfortable with the envelopes you have, request a new envelope. Any request should be received by May 14th, 2021.

When requesting new ballots, ballot envelopes, return envelopes please be very specific as to what you need and why. These requests are documented and tracked."

From the Election Judge on observers to the counting of the ballots:

This is from the Local 20 Bylaws: “Article III, Section 4 (l) Any candidate for office may be present or have an IBEW member as an observer present at the counting of the ballots.”

NOTE: Any observer must abide by CDC Covid guidelines.
